I've also downloaded the IOS and Android app. I use Quicken to manage about a score of bank and investment accounts and several thousand transactions a year.
First, I was relieved that I did not suffer some of the problems other users have reported. The install and import of several years of accounts went smoothly. Connections for account updates also worked as expected. Occasionally, imported updates do not match or deconflict as they should based on previous version experience , but the program bugs cause no harm and I can easily modify or delete the transaction.
Altogether, the updates of the tools seem to be minor improvements over the version from 3 years ago. However and most importantly, it just works.
Does it knock my socks off with the brilliance of their programming? The mobile access is for checking account statuses and little more. That's okay with me, because I prefer working on my accounts from my desktop computer. Still, there's not much additional utility that warrants changing my existing workflows. Lastly, aside from the merits of Quicken, Intuit's business model can only be described as obnoxious.
Planned obsolescence to drive business shouts mediocrity. Eventually, a competitor or alternate technology will capture Quicken's market largely because of Intuit's hubris.

Not positive who's fault this one is, Intuits or my Financial Institution. Regardless of who's fault it is, this version is not doing what my last version did. Perhaps you should wait for Quicken and hopefully Intuit will beta test that version before releasing it.
Initial Review: I've been using quicken since and have actually liked the product. Unfortunately, quicken simply does not function completely. The program is plagued with shutdown problems the program simply closes.
It shuts down when I try to access the internet for updates or to import banking information. It also shuts down when I try to import a webconnect file. The company is aware of it but appears to have no idea what is happening as they have asked users to send them their logs.
Intuit should pull the release from the market until they can get their act together. You know, this is simple accounting software. There are a lot of satisfied customers who use older versions of the program.
Why a company can't simply let a good software program be is beyond me. From what I've seen when the new version works, the only change is the GUI graphical user interface.
